Abstract

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) is profoundly transforming the news production landscape. This study examines the application of AIGC in journalism by first reviewing its current implementations in writing assistance and content moderation. It then analyzes the risks associated with content quality, ethical considerations, and industry ecosystem during its application. The paper proposes targeted regulatory strategies from three dimensions: technological, legal, and industry self-regulation. Finally, it explores the future trends of AIGC integration with emerging technologies and its potential to drive innovation in news production, aiming to provide theoretical insights for the journalism industry to address both opportunities and challenges posed by AIGC.
