Abstract
This article explores the application and empowerment of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the professional development of preschool teachers. It points out that generative AI possesses four major capabilities, including the generation of enlightening content and the understanding of conversational contexts. It can simulate human creative thinking and provide personalized learning support. Although its application in the field of preschool education is gradually deepening and has a profound impact on teachers' teaching abilities, preschool teachers face challenges such as insufficient digital literacy and uneven distribution of educational resources when applying it. Currently, domestic and international research focuses more on the development and utilization of generative AI in kindergartens under the background of digital transformation in education. Empirical research on the current application status of teachers needs to be deepened. The research emphasizes its potential in enhancing teachers' digital literacy and proposes strategies to improve application willingness and effectiveness. It aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for promoting its application in preschool education, enhancing teachers' digital literacy, and promoting high-quality development in preschool education.
